New Balance have finally entered the fitness technology game with the RunIQ Smartwatch. The company announced the Android Wear-powered device as a direct competitor to the Apple Nike+, and thanks to its collaboration with Strava, it was designed with features runners need most. Features include Built-in GPS for course tracking along with pace and distance measurement, a heart rate monitor, lap button, and interval capability. Those with Bluetooth headphones can use the 4GB of built-in storage to play tracks via Google Play Music. It is also waterproof up to 5ATM of pressure, and has up to five hours of battery life while actively using the GPS (or up to 24 hours for typical use) meaning runners can track a full marathon. watch the video below
